Seth Collins (hence forth refered to as Breeder/I) Guaruntees that the described dog below is a purebred Labrador retreiver with AKC Registered parents.

1. Breeder guaruntees this dog is in good health and free of communicable disease at the time of purchase, with all immunizations given listed on the health record.

2. Breeder cannot guaruntee adult size, conformation, or color.

3. Your new puppy will be vaccinated at 7 weeks of age with a 5-Way Vaccine (Recommended for vaccination against canine distemper, hepatitis, adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus). It is recommended that you follow up with your local vet to recieve neccessary vaccinations at 9 weeks and 12 weeks of age. The puppy will be dewormed 3 times while in our care.

4. You will recieve a puppy care package including: a health record, a feeding schedule, Purina Puppy Chow dry dog food, a toy, AKC papers and a final reciept.

5. Maine State Law:

 

 

Buyer shall have the dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within ten (10) working days of reciept of the pup for a "well puppy" check-up to make sure the pup is healthy and sound at the time you recieve the pup. If the pup is found to be unsound or unhealthy at the time of arrival, the pup can be:

Health problem; remedies. When an animal has a health problem that renders the animal unfit for sale pursuant to subsection 1, and that heath problem existed in the animal at the time of delivery to the purchaser but was not disclosed under the provisions of section 4152, the seller shall provide the purchaser with one of the following remedies selected by the purchaser:

A. Return of the animal to the seller for a refun of the full purchase price of the animal; [2007, c. 702, €26 (AMD).]

B. Exchange of the animal for an animal of the purchaser's choice of equivalent value, providing a replacement is available; or [1995, c. 589, €1 (NEW).]

C. Retainment of the animal and reimbursement for 1/2 of the reasonable veterinary fees not to exceed 1/2 of the original purchase price of the animal [1995, c. 589, €1 (NEW).]

There is a 1 year health guaruntee against hereditary and genetic disorders; this must be stated in writing by a licensed veterinarian. Replacement/ refund will be in accord to Maine Law: Title 7: Part 9

6. Buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health, temperment, and appearance of the below described dog upon possession.

7. Buyer further agrees to maintain the dog at all times in good health with periodic check-ups and recommended immunizations. The buyer shall provide the animal with humane care and maintain it in accordance with all current and future state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the buyer resides or will reside.

8. The actions and upbringing of the puppy is the responsibility of the owner. Under no circumstances is the breeder to be held responsible for the dog or the dogs behavior. It is highly recommended that a professional trainer be consulted to train the dog and buyer in the proper handling of the dog.

9. Breeder/ Seller reserves the right to cancel sale at any given time if he decides this would be in the best interest o fthe puppy. In this case all money's would be returned to potential buyer.

10. The breeder asssumes no responsibility for this puppy/dog after leaving the premesis regarding medical expenses or otherwise incurred by the buyer on behalf of his canine without written approval of Seth Collins.

11. Your puppy is eligible for the American Kennel Club (AKC) registration, and I will provide you with the AKC registration forms needed to register your pup. It is up to you to submit the forms to the AKC in a timely manner for the purposes of registration. Upon reciept of the puppy she/he will be eligible for AKG Limited Registration. What this mean is that she/he will be registered as purebreed and be eligible to compete in AKC events (with exception of conformation), including but not limited to obedience trials, hunt tests, agility, etc. She/he WILL NOT be eligible for breeding with limited registration.

12. If at any time in the puppy or dog's lifetime the buyer cannot or is not willing to keep the puppy or dog Collins Family Labradors will always take the puppy back to rehome the dog. This is in the interest of the puppy or dog and assures that the puppy does not end up in a shelter or with an irresponsible or abusive owner. The puppy/ dog may be returned to the breeder at anytime, no questions asked, no refund will be given.

13. Puppies requiring boarding past 8 weeks of age will be charged a $20.00 per day boarding fee. This covers the additional food, care, and potty training.

Attatched is your pet's health history, and specific warranty information.

This is a binding contract enforceable in court of law with the State of Maine. I, Seth Collins, the breeder and buyer certify tht we have read this contract, understand the contents, and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

Deposit: A $100 deposit will hold the puppy of your choice. If the puppy is not paid in full within 8 weeks of puppies whepling date the deposit will be retained by the breeder and the puppy will be made available for purchase to another buyer. Once a deposit is given it is non-refundable unless the puppy is deemed un-adoptable by my licensed veterinarian or by any above mentioned reason.

Your deposit may be paid by a check made payable to SETH COLLINS. The final payment may be paid in check IF it is recieved by the time the puppies are 7 weeks of age, or DUE IN CASH at pickup when the puppies are 8 weeks of age- Puppy must be paid in FULL before leaving.

Puppies requiring stay after 8 weeks of age are subject to the daily boarding fee.
