                     Collins Family

Baby with red fox and yellow lab puppies

Our names are Seth and Denica Collins. We have a son named Randy, he is one and a half years old. We also have a baby girl on the way, arriving in April 2014. We were married in May of 2011, and that is when our passion for dogs began to flourish.

We got Puddles in March of 2011. She was an early wedding present, we chose her instead of a honeymoon. We decided to breed Puddles after weeks of doing research, reading books, and talking to veterinarians, and other experienced breeders. That first litter was a learning experience, and we absolutely fell in love with the entire process of raising, breeding, and selling dogs. It is so satisfying to see a family go home with thier new puppy, so happy, and anxious to give it the love and care it deserves.

We live in Wilton, Maine. We have a large, wide open, fenced in yard that the dogs have free reign to play in. Our dogs are truely members of our family. They live, play, eat, and sleep right along side of us in our home. We ran a daycare out of our home for two years and because of our own children all of our dogs are absolutely incredible with children.

Our future goal for our breeding program is expansion. We are currently remodeling a home that will include a large open room for the dogs, and a specific whelping area. This open room will have bed areas for the dogs and room for play as an option if we aren't at home. We don't put our dogs in kennels and they come inside and outside as they please.

Lucy will start being a part of the breeding aspect of our program after passing all of her eye, hip and elbow tests in 2015. We are in the process of trying to aquire a beautiful chocolate labrador that would be eligible for breeding in 2015 as well. Our goal is to gradually add more labradors to our breeding program as we can responsibly maintain them.
